I set my blog time to Pacific time.

I'm not sure I could say I slept, so much as I just collapsed. My last official home ownership deed for the night was to install window coverings. I did the last one in the bedroom and fell into my bed to get some sleep.

I slept ok... I have central heat. I don't miss the tink tink, clank of the baseboard heaters, and I am slowing getting use to the whoosh as the furnace starts doing its thing.

My bedroom faces the street, which is a four lane fairly busy street. The car noise doesn't bother me. Plus there is a brick facade which helps cut down street noise.

I have to work tonight, but I have a gas line being installed and a stove coming later this afternoon. Work was a last minute thing... Argh. Oh well. Off to find my tooth brush...

The move went okay. I didn't get a chance to get the kitchen packed up. Ran out of boxes, energy and the will to pack one more box. I did not expect to work Thursday, but my boss needed me to cover someone else's shift. But I get the weekend off, so it will work out... I think.

UPS has a new policy where they return packages to the shipper, without giving the receiver an opportunity to pickup their package. UPS will not longer hold a package, they just send it back.
